Newton's Laws l Overview

During this 45-60 minute video conference, your students will learn basic concepts of Newton’s First Law, the law of inertia, and how it happens around them every day.  Students will investigate a variety of situations and determine what actions are at work, including friction, gravity, balanced and unbalanced forces.  They will witness live demonstrations from the Lab Director that will deepen their understanding of this topic and also show how Newton’s first law of motion occurs in space.  After core concepts are demonstrated and reviewed, each team will present a report for the class and Lab Director.
